Charles Howard

Charles Roy Howard, 74, passed away January 28, 2012, at the Grace Home after a brief illness with lung cancer. Roy retired from AT&T Technology and was a member of The Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine; daughters, Jackie Strickland, husband Ronnie, and Gwen Mathews, husband Steve; four grandchildren, Danny Triplet, Crystal Brooks, Blake and Lauren Mathews; three great-grandchildren, Kalie, and Caleb Brooks and Hunter Triplet; one sister, Mildred Bison husband Charles; and brother, Jack Howard wife Ardean. A memorial service to honor Roy?s life will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday starting at 11:00 to service time. Officiating will be Chaplain Alan Prator of Grace Home.
