Hilda Teresa Vazquez

Bossier City, LA Hilda Teresa Cotto de Vazquez left our time on March 21, 2013 at the young age of 77. Our "Hildie" was an absolute beauty inside and out and was the forever silent partner to her beloved Angel Rafael for 53 glorious years. She is always remembered through her children, Edwin Rafael, Kenneth Ivan, Sandra Isabel and her countless grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sisters, daughters in-law and son in-law. Hilda struggled with diminishing health for almost two decades. It was her courage and insatiable appetite for living that left us with the indelible understanding of how we all should live out our days. Reverence can be paid at the Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport, between 3-6 pm Sunday, March 24. Her final services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Monday, March 25 at 11am. Interment follows at Northwest LA Veterans Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
