Mary Herndon

North Richland Hills, TX - Shreveport native and long-time resident Mary Carvell Herndon died October 26, 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas following surgery. She was a former employee of Goodwill Industries and of the Caddo Parish School Board. She was preceded in death by husband James E Herndon. Her survivors are son Ben Watson and wife Bobbye; son Chester Watson and wife Shirley; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery, Stoner Avenue at 10:00 on Friday, October 31, 2008. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Louisiana Funeral Care.
