Joseph "Joe" Perot Heflin, LA - Funeral services for Joe Perot will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier. Officiating will be Bro. Clyde Miley, of the Cowboy Church in Lake End. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, LA. The family will receive friends, Monday, July 27, 2015 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home. Joe was raised in Montgomery, Louisiana and passed away suddenly on July 24, 2015. He was known for his smile, tender heart, and hard work ethic, but most of all for his picking and grinning. As a member of two local bands, the music he made will live forever. Joe lived for his wife, children, grandchildren, and his babies, Zoe and Topher. Joe was preceded in death by father, Joseph E. Perot; mother, Ida Perot; sister, Lucille Rodriguez; brothers, Robert and Charles Perot. Left to cherish his memory the love of his life of 33 years, Tresa; daughters, Tonya Smith and husband Danny, Tammy Rowell and husband Rodney, Alicia Brown and husband Lee; son, Bobby Perot; grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Smith, Kaylen and Molly Rowell, Eryn Perot, Dusty Brown, Little Joe Perot, and Kaleb Perot; two great-grandchildren, Jaidyn Smith and Emma Sexton; sisters, Louise Pender, Shirley Tyler, and Sue Perot; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Joe will be greatly missed by all that had the honor of knowing him. Rest in peace my friend.
