Margaret (Peggy) Dean Gray Burdine passed from this earth on July 3, 2014. She was born in Shiloh, LA on December 5, 1937. She attended Longstreet High School for 12 years and Port Arthur Business & Radio College in Port Arthur, TX for 1 year. Thereafter she moved to Shreveport and worked as a legal secretary until marriage to Wes Burdine in 1955. Born; one son Wesley Randall in 1957 and one daughter, Cynthia Diane in 1967.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Howard Gray and Maxine Timmons Gray; Brother, John Henry Gray; brother-in-law, Leo Martin; sister-in-law, Marie Dills Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Darius Burdine of Benton LA; one son, Wesley Randall Burdine and his wife Christie Burdine of Fleming Island, FL; one daughter, Cynthia Diane Burdine Tatum and her husband, Todd Tatum of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Lauren (Dani) Burdine Brown and husband Jordan Brown of Jacksonville, FL; Kelsey Savanah Tatum, Anna Camille Tatum and Benjamin Todd Tatum of West Monroe, LA. Step grandchildren, Jordan Keith Long of Fleming Island FL, Sarah Christian Long Adham and husband Micheal Adham of Atlanta, GA. Great grandchildren, Bella Renea Brown of Jacksonville, FL; Brother Bill Gray and wife Donna; and her sisters, Cheryl Gray Martin, Pat Gray Stewart and husband Roy, all of Shiloh community,
