Katherine Davis Drinkard

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home -Bossier City. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Hill. Kathy was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 2, 1955 and went to be with her Savior on November 12, 2016. She went to high school at Northwood High, playing clarinet in the band, and went on to attend Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Kathy was a beloved wife and mother. She was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and desired most of all that all would come to know Him. She was an avid reader of Scripture and fiction. Throughout her life, she enjoyed painting, gardening, fishing, and many family vacations. Most of all, she enjoyed time with her husband, Darrell Drinkard, children, and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Darrel Drinkard, her two sons, Joseph Darrell Drinkard III and Jonathan Drinkard; granddaughter, Abigail Katherine Drinkard and grandsons Joseph Darrell Drinkard IV, William Glenn Drinkard, and Jonathan David Drinkard.
