Bossier City-- Funeral services for Mrs. Rowanda McCullough Smith will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, TX with visitation from noon ? 2:00 p.m with Chaplain Skip Noble officiating. Interment will follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Anahuac, TX. The family will receive friends at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m with service at 5:30pm. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bennett Taylor Smith, Jr.; children, Jacqueline Louise Smith, Boice Carson Smith, and Thomas Carswell Smith; parents, Bennett Taylor Smith, Sr. and Willie Morene Hulan, and sister, Carrie Maxine Baker. Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Bennett Taylor Smith, III; grandchildren, Amy LeeAnn Ryan, Michelle Suzanne Karsten, and Jeffery Dale Moulder; great-grandchildren, Travis Joseph Ryan, Catheryn Nicole Karsten, Alissa Moulder, and Isabell Moulder; sister, Melva Linville, Ann Rothkamm, Jimmie Lea Storey; brother, Albert Wade Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will also be truly missed by his ?Children?, Mr. Ragsdale (Rags) and Sassy. Pallbearers will be John Terry Parish, Thomas Randall Parish, Kenneth Cogburn, Kenneth Michael Rothkamm, Steven Edward Rothkamm, Judd Calvin Storey. Honorary pallbearers are LtCol. Christian Wendler, Dallas A. Burgess, Donald Spencer, and Jimmy Watts. The family offers special thanks to LSU Medical Center and VA Medical Center for their wonderful care.
