Inez Frans Ford

Inez Frans Ford, born April 2, 1931 in Trenton, AR, resident of Shreveport, LA since 1979, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday January 28, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home, Shreveport. John Higginbottom of Mangum United Methodist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home, Shreveport. Burial will follow the funeral at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 12:00. Reception for family and friends at Mangum United Methodist Church after the burial. Inez married Billy Edwin Ford on November 3, 1948. They were married 67 years. Inez is survived by her husband, Billy; her children Randy, Carol Ann and husband Lee, Donna Sue and husband Robert; her grandchildren Eli, Gwen, Hillary, Jason, Brandon, Brittany, Billy, Chris, Kelly and Abbye; and her great-grandchildren Sarah, Riley, Koryn, Cannon, Stella, Ethan and Christian. Inez was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Warden and Robert Frans, of Rockford, Illinois. Flowers may be sent to the family at Boone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shreveport Humane Society or Mangum United Methodist Church.
