Keith Eugene Stambaugh

Keith Eugene Stambaugh was born 02/27/1937 in Omaha Nebraska to Marguarite Stambaugh. Keith passed away September 15. 2021 in Shreveport. A Celebration of Life Service for Keith will be held at a later date. Keith was a dedicated family man that loved his wife and children dearly. His career path kept him moving from state to state, however he finally settled in Shreveport. In his spare time, Keith loved to build or restore things with his hands. As a typically Louisianan, he enjoyed fishing with his wife and bragging about who caught the most. Preceding Keith in death was the love of his life and wife, Virginia Stambaugh; mother and step-father, Marguarite and Elmer Welton, Sr.; sister, Betty Gundersen; and step-son, David Eggleston. He is survived by son, Clayton Stambaugh; daughter, Tammi Schofield and husband Biff; step-daughters, Janie McDonald and husband Eddie, Connie Eggleston; step-sons, Patrick Maloney and wife Erica, and Larry Eggleston, grandchildren, Braden, and Zandy; step-grandchildren, Jacob and Joel McDonald, and Shannon Oneal, Kelli Eggleston. Loralee Hamman, David Lee Eggleston, Dylan and Iliana Maloney; a number of great grandchildren; siblings, Elmer Welton, Jr., Nicki Wray, Sharon Alley, and Jack Welton, and Herbie Burr; nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends; and his beloved fur baby Sassy. Keith lived life to the fullest. He loved deeply and was loved. He will be greatly missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.
