Richard Firmin, 54, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away September 4, 2021. He was born on October 14, 1966, in Cheneyville, Louisiana to Madison and Rosemary (Hudspeth) Firmin.
Richard proudly served his country, and the state of Louisiana, for six years in the National Guard as a Military Policeman. He also served his community as a Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department for over 16 years. He was a big part of the gaming community, especially Warhammer. No matter what was going on in Richard’s life, his family came first. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He was always willing to listen and offered great advice.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jennifer Firmin; daughters, Victoria Firmin, and Julia Schaechtel and husband David McClain; sons, Thomas Firmin and Jacob Schaechtel; grandchildren Kaitlyn Menefee and Stella McClain.
A Celebration of Life Service for Richard will be 2:30 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Richard lived life to the fullest. He loved deeply and was loved. He is truly going to be missed.
