Blaise Maniscalco

Blaise Aloysius Maniscalco, aged 89 years, of Shreveport, Louisiana began his new life with his Heavenly Father on September 2nd, 2021 after a long illness. Blaise was born to Salvator and Michelena Maniscalco in New Orleans Louisiana on January 26th,1932. He married Evelyn Alice Benefield on September 3rd, 1955. Blaise and Evelyn lived in New Orleans, Louisiana and Marshall, Texas before moving to Shreveport in 1966. Evelyn preceded Blaise in death on August 29th, 2011. Beloved father and husband, Blaise is survived by his sister Francis; his children Kenneth, Cheryl, and Steven; grandchildren Kenneth Jr, Mary, Theresa, Joseph, Benjamin, Steven and Kevin; great grandchildren Avery, Penelope and Jack. Blaise’s life will be celebrated with services at St Mary of the Pines Catholic Church in Shreveport at a funeral mass starting at 1 PM on Saturday, September 11th.
