Charles Timothy Chapman

Known by friend as either Charlie or Timmy was born October 24, 1958 in Lake Charles and sadly passed away in Bossier City on July 14, 2018. The family will receive friends at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier City on Sunday, July 22, 2018 between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Charlie’s love of anything mechanical stirred him to a long career as an automobile mechanic.  Actually, he could work on anything that had running parts.  He spent his free time helping others in any way he could.  His kind heart was well known throughout his family.  He loved his daughter, but his grandchildren were his life.  He loved teaching them the value of learning a trade, which for him was working on cars. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Martha Chapman; and daughter, Geraldine Halloran.  He is survived by wife, Debbie Sawyers Chapman; sisters, Jackie Daigle and Michelle Thomas; thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

His legacy will be his grandchildren.
