Norma Jean Strumski, 80, of Bossier City passed away peacefully in her home August 7th, 2018. Services will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City on August 11th, 2018 at 2 PM.
Jean was born in East Alton, Illinois to Joseph and Doris Barnett on December 1st, 1937. She attended Wood River High School and graduated in 1955. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Exxon and AT&T for 20 years. She enjoyed hand making crafts and gifts, spending time with her family and friends, and spoiling her dog Lil’ Bit.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Doris Barnett, her brother, William Barnett, her oldest sister, Dorothy Jones, her youngest sister, Ruth Ann Copeland, her son, Jeffrey Strumski, and her grandson, Michael DuBois.
Jean is survived by her three children, daughter Susan and her husband Mike McDonald, son Scott and his wife Karron Strumski, and daughter Kristina and her husband CDR Andy Steczo. As well as her five grandchildren, Jeffrey Strumski, Brandon DuBois, Andrew Steczo, Taylor Steczo, and Tiffany Steczo and multiple great-grandchildren.
