Their daughters were born shortly after coming home. Renee gave birth to daughters Margaret and Thea. Renee found her calling and career in nursing late in life. She served at Overton Brooks Medical Center in the later part of her career and retired from the V.A. Clinic in Longview, Texas. She was loved by her patients. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Philip Winters as well as her youngest daughter, Thea Winters; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her youngest sister Jetty Gosselaar as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Box 505, Jefferson, TX 75657 or the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport.
