Ralph Marionneaux

Shreveport, LA ? Memorial services for Ralph Holden Marionneaux will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 6, 2010 at First Methodist Church of Shreveport. Officiating will be Dr. Pat Day. Ralph, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. During Ralph?s life he proudly served his country as a USAF fighter pilot. As a pilot, Ralph was known for his skill and courage. Upon his retirement, he served on the Ouachita Parish School Board and in insurance sales. His family knew him for his honesty, integrity and as a loving supportive father. He also enjoyed playing golf and baseball. Ralph is survived by three sons, Wayne Marionneaux and wife Darra, Barry Marionneaux and wife, Wendy and Scott Marionneaux; grandchildren, Amie Ogle and husband Brad, Nichole McGaha and husband Paxton, Leigh Lanier and fiance´ Bo, Rachel Marionneaux, Sarah Marionneaux, Brandon Marionneaux and wife Emily and Brooke Goforth and husband James; great-grandchild, Jack Ogle; brother, Ron Marionneaux and numerous other family members and friends. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Christus Schumpert Cancer Treatment Center for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Christus Schumpert Cancer Treatment Center in memory of Ralph.
