JoAnne Heisler

Jo Anne Heisler, age 84, of Shreveport, LA died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Jo Anne was born August 28, 1935 in Plain Dealing, LA to Thomas and Katie (Franklin) Ward.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Heisler, her parents; Thomas and Katie Ward, brother, Ronald Ward, brother, Leon Ward, sister, Floy Weins, and brother Kenneth Ward.

She is survived by her children; Susan (Larry) Freeman, Johnny (Karen) McCall, Melanie Dotting; and brother; Donnie Ward. She will also be missed greatly by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; Daniel, Buddy, Krystal, Sara, Katie, Scott, Heather, Kaden, Rayleigh, Ty, Kinsley, KaiKai, Charles Michael, Liam, Bray, Adley, Ella Jo, Emma, Carson, and Michael.

Services to honor the life of JoAnne will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019. A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm at Woodridge Baptist Church, 850 E Bert Kouns, Shreveport, LA 71106. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2 pm at the Northwest LA Veterans Cemetary; 7970 Mike Clarke Rd; Keithville, LA 71047.
