Shreveport, LA - L.C. Ferrier, 76, passed away suddenly in an automobile accident, on September 13, 2012. He was born December 18, 1935 to George W. Ferrier and Inez Lyman Ferrier in Colfax, LA. He served in the Air Force with Honorable discharge. He worked as a police officer for the city of Shreveport. He was in the transport business as Terminal Manager and Director of Driving school. He was currently semi-retired working with Keith Orr Auto Group. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Shirley R. Ferrier; daughter Brige? Ferrier Rogers; son Joel A. Ferrier and wife Charlene of Texarkana, TX; daughter Holly B. Nabors and husband Anthony of Shreveport, LA; son Anthony K. Blankenship of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren Nicholas Rogers of Dallas, TX; Brittney Woodruff and husband John of Texarkana, TX; Chloe?, Collin and Christian Ferrier of Texarkana, TX; Cole Nabors and wife Sarah, Logan Nabors, Mason Nabors of Shreveport, LA; Julia and Will Blankenship of West Monroe, LA; great-grandchildren Alexis and Aiden Woodruff of Texarkana, TX; Connor Nabors of Shreveport, LA; sister Zelma Muse of Minden, LA; Lurline Barrett and husband Ken of Katy, TX and many precious nephews and nieces; Father-in-law Robert P. Ramsey of El Dorado, AR and brother-in-law Bob Ramsey of El Dorado, AR. He was preceded in death by parents and sister Nettie Woodall. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 PM all at First Baptist Church Bossier City, Faith Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Wounded Warriors.
