Wilma Morris

Plain Dealing, LA ? Memorial services for Wilma D. Morris will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Plain Dealing United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. John Downs and Chaplain Dana Cassey. Wilma was born July 6, 1926 and went to be with her Lord on November 21, 2011. Of her 85 years, 66 of them was being a devoted wife to her husband Bill and loving mother to their four children. She never said anything bad about anyone and believed that everyone was basically good. She maintained a strong Christian faith throughout her life and was an active member of her church for 29 years. Proceeding Wilma in death are her parents, Lillian Mae Keener Dodd and Ray Dodd; sisters, Marie White, and Violet Bonafield; great-granddaughter, Katie Lynette Shockley. She is survived by husband, Bill Morris; daughters, Cathy Sprouse and husband Rob, Sharon Rhodes and husband Bonnie; sons, Al Morris and wife Donna, and Kenny Morris and wife Robin; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
