Gladys Marie Wood

Gladys Marie Wood, age 94 died on November 10th, 2018. A long time resident of Bossier City, Marie as she was called by friends and family was born in Laredo, Texas to Ira and Emmie Jane Hardcastle, however she grew up and graduated high school in Burkburnett, Texas.

The wife of an Air Force officer, Marie was married to Lt Col Kenneth C. Wood for a Lord blessed 67 years. Along side her husband she accompanied him to numeral bases around the country and abroad.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Beverly Jane Wood Yarborough of Springfield, Virginia along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City. Internment will be at the Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery in Burkburnett, Texas beside her loving family
