Rosemary Walters Hatch

Ms. Rosemary Hatch of Benton, LA passed away September 12, 2017 after a brief illness. Rosemary was born on August 15, 1924 in Montgomery, AL. She enjoyed so many wonderful friends and anything involving nature, she was especially proud of her backyard birds and could not help but adopt any stray that happened by. She loved the outdoors and could name every bush and tree. Rosemary was preceded in death by husband Harry M. Hatch, son James D. Evans, Jr., mother Edith Burkhalter and father Eugene Walters. She is survived by son, David Evans, wife Joyce; daughter, Ruth Michaels and husband Gary; grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Jennifer Jeffers and husband Dave, Kristi Zerangue and husband Eric, and Stephanie Michaels; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Samantha, Ethan and Claire. She enjoyed many friends and neighbors which are too many to list, but especially Inez, Sara, Mink, and Judy. Services will be private per Rosemary's request.
