Lessie Anderson

Shreveport, LA Lessie Adeline Anderson born December 10, 1922 received perfect healing from her Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. She was a long time and faithful member of the First Church of God of Shreveport, La. Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years, William Harold Anderson. Left behind to cherish her memory is her son Roger Anderson and wife Terri of Baton Rouge, her sister Muriel White of West Monroe, and brother, R.L. Hargrove and wife Lila of Calhoun, La. One niece, two nephews and a host of faithful and loving friends who remained faithful in caring for her. The family would like to express their appreciation to her church family, Rhonda and Allen McCaslin, the Willis Knighton Hospice as well as Odyssey Hospice of Baton Rouge who have shown so much love and compassion especially during the past 18 months. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home on Meriwether Road, in Shreveport. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Rev. Terry Arington will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Park West. Pallbearers will be men from the First Church of God.
