Bob Dykes

Mr. Robert Lee Dykes was born on January 14, 1935. He passed away April 23, 2008, in Ft. Worth, TX, after a long illness. Bob lived in Bossier City for 41 years before moving to Fort Worth, Texas. He served our country for 22 years in the USAF and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth Riser Dykes and Walter Dykes and his sister Elizabeth Ann Dykes Tardo. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Dianne Leche Dykes; sons: Keith and Todd Dykes; daughter Kim Dykes; and a brother Charles Dykes. The family suggests that memorials be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 315 Marshall St. Shreveport, LA 71101. A memorial service is planned for Monday, April 28, 2008, at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City with Monsignor Earl V. Provenza officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home before the service from 7-8 pm.
