Billy Cox

Plain Dealing, LA Mr. Bill Cox passed away on February 22, 2005, at Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Plain Dealing. He was born on October 29, 1946, in Covington, TN. The family will be receiving friends at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier on Saturday, February 26, 2005, from 10-12 pm. Mr. Cox enjoyed working both with wood and leather. He has built many crafts over the years. Bill liked listening to oldies music, watching western movies, and loved to talk to anyone about anything. He is survived by his children: Billy Cox, Jr.; daughters: Janifer Culverhouse, Jackie Ferrell; brothers: Eugene and James Buddy Cox; sisters: Peggy Sires and Sue Theobald, grandchildren: Elizabeth Troegel, Emily Ferrell, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Dora Mae Cox; brother Ricky Cox; sisters: Virginia Friedley, and Olene Ferguson. The family would like to thank Rhonda Burlison and the staff of Whispering Pines Nursing Home for the care and dedication given to their father.
