Joyce Harris

Joyce Wells Harris Bossier City, LA Joyce Wells Harris was born October 19, 1933 in Birmingham, AL, her parents were Pauline and Eugene Wells. She went to be with her Lord June 24, 2012 in Shreveport. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bossier for more than 25 yrs. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James B. Harris, Col., USAF Retired; her parents, and a brother, Eugene Wells. She is survived by her children, Paula H. Wallace, David E. Harris and wife Chris, and Catherine H. Nielsen, MD; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, one great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Diane Lee and husband Cornell; a brother, Mark Wells and wife Teresa and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 30, 10:00 AM at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. Officating will be Rev. Ray Raney. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday.
