Raymond Tappe, Jr.

Raymond “Dale” Tappe, Jr. 64 of Shreveport, LA passed away on Sunday September, 1 2019.

Dale was born May 31, 1955 in Shreveport, LA. He graduated from Northwood Highschool in 1973.

His career of choice was a draftsman & his passion was music.

Even though he never learned how to read a sheet of music, he didn’t let that hold him back from having a band of his own!

He sang, played all kinds of guitars including the steel guitar/keyboard & the drums. He could do it all!                                                                                                                                        

Dale was a man with a huge heart and he loved the Lord and his family. We will miss him dearly.

He was proceeded in death by his father Raymond Dale Tappe, Sr. his brother John Walter Tappe his nephew Samuel Aaron Tappe and grandmother Bertie “MooMoo” Allbritton. He is survived by his mother Barbara Tappe, daughters Cristal Loe & Linda Blankenship, his brother Marshall Tappe and his wife Angela Tappe, Grandchildren: Natalie Blankenship, Jayden Vincent, Bailee Vincent, Parker Blankenship and Jaxon Loe along with five nieces and nephews.

In place of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Boone Funeral Home.
