Charles was born August 3, 1942 and passed away peacefully on December 12, 2010. He is survived by his wife Theresa Gantt; sons, Wayne Gantt and wife Lisa, Jerry Douglas Gantt, and Michael Gantt; daughter, Lisa Chandler and husband Joey; step-children, Allecca Tucker, Pam Perkins, and Rodney, Tiffany and Rusty Whiteside; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister, Martha Calhoun and Jean Gantt; brothers, Phillip Gantt, David Gantt; and several nieces and nephews.
