Gladys Legg

Gladys “Irene” Legg age, 93 of Benton, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2019.

She is proceeded in death by her Mother, Father, her Siblings and her Husband Willard Legg.

She is survived by her sons: Donald Legg and wife Susan of Double Oak Texas; Joey Legg and wife Jennifer of Wasilla, Alaska; her daughters: Linda Berg of Benton, Louisiana; Dianne Phillips of Lewisville Texas; Rene Carte and husband Robert of Benton, Louisiana; and 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

Irene Legg was very active in her community and church.  She supported the Benton High School Band and served as President of the Booster Club.  She received many awards and recognition for her service to the Benton School District and her mission work at Benton United Methodist Church.

She had many hobbies and interest which included traveling and spending time with her family.  She will always be remembered as Ms. Legg on the KRMD Morning show for many years.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Benton United Methodist Church, 4615 Palmetto Drive, Benton Louisiana, 71006.
