Shreveport, LA ? Funeral services for Dianne Walker will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Keithville. Interment will follow in the Church?s cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Stowell. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2009 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care, 3903 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport. Dianne was a Caddo Parish teacher and loved teaching young children. She received her Bachelors Degree from Texas Tech and her Teachers Certification from Louisiana Tech. Dianne is preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Walker; grandparents, W. L. Walker, Bessie Walker, MawMaw Hazel, and S. B. Greening. She is survived by her parents, Kathy and C. W. Walker; brother, Jason Walker and wife Tamara; nephew, Chase; niece, Presley; and grandmother Margie Greening, and numerous relatives and friends. She also leaves behind her precious dog Lola. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Baptist Children?s Home in Monroe, LA or charity of donor?s choice.
