William "Bill" Russell Burt

William “Bill” Russell Burt, age 73, passed away on February 28, 2020 in Bossier City, LA.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 26, 1946, he was the son of the late William Edwin Burt and Frances Janet Russell Burt. He graduated in 1965 from Fannindel High School in Ladonia, Texas.  He was employed with Sears & Roebuck as a Service Manager before entering the banking industry as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer.  He will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing and hunting. He could always be found watching a John Wayne movie.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Robert “J.R.” Burt (and wife Kelly), grandchildren Kayleigh Larkin (and husband Patrick), William Fisher Burt and Kenneth “Trace” Wayne Burnham III and great grandchildren Lincoln and Reagan Larkin.

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
