CHERYL JEAN JENKINS ROTH, 57 years old, of Keatchie, LA, passed away on April 6, 2015 in Keatchie, LA. Funeral service will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport, La (3903 Meriwether Rd.) on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 2:00 with Reverend Amador Santos officiating. Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home on April 11,2015 at 12:00. Boone Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Cheryl was born in Indianapolis, IN to Elmer Jenkins and Barbara Hunter on April 23, 1957. She went to high school at Southport H.S. in Indianapolis, IN and graduated in 1975. She worked as a Notary Public and Medical Transcriptionist. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and most of all her grandchildren. She was involved with the Voice of the Martyrs. Cheryl is survived by her husband, John Berkenstock of Keatchie, LA; daughter, Heather Williams of Shreveport, LA; son, John Shackelford of New Orleans, LA; granddaughters Alyssa Todd & Eryn Williams; daughter in law, Melissa Shackelford; son in law, Lawrence Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Candy Jenkins; husband, Edward Roth; Nephew, Travis Kivi. Memorial donations may be made to Voice of the Martyrs, P.O.
