Dorian Crayton Barnes

March 11, 1957 – January 29, 2020

Dorian “DC” Barnes (62) passed away in Bossier City, Louisiana.  DC was born in El Paso, Texas, son of Charlie Barnes and Dolores Ash Barnes Burton.  He graduated from El Modeno High School in Orange, California in 1976.  DC enlisted in the US Navy immediately after high school and served aboard the aircraft carrier Coral Sea.   He worked as an EMT in California following his discharge in 1980.  DC later moved to Bossier City, Louisiana where he worked in the security field and was employed by Securitas for many years.

DC is survived by a son, Adam Barnes, sisters Dee Sprinkle, Linda Barnes Oldale, April Maria Barnes, Carmen Anita Sharpless and Dawn Ramona Selle, step-dad Howard Burton and step-mother Ione Barnes.

DC will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on March 11, 2020.
