Veronica Crawley

Bossier City, LA - Memorial celebration for Veronica Lynn Crawley, 43, will be held at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Dr., Bossier City 71111 on December 6, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Veronica passed away peacefully and pain free November 29th at Heritage Nursing Home where she was surrounded by her family and friends. Veronica was born in 1972 in Farmville, VA as the first child to Bobby and Maxine Crawley. She traveled the US as a military dependent where she later graduated from Bossier High School in 1990.Veronica was awarded a full scholarship to Louisiana State University for her excellences in track and field. Due to medical obstacles during her journey, she pursued other goals like working as a horse handler at Louisiana Downs. Veronica also pursued her enormous passion of music, where she wrote and produced her own songs. Veronica is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Lee Crawley, Jr.; uncle, Sherman Jr.; grandfather, Sherman, Sr.; grandmother, Katie Crawley. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Martez; parents, Bobby Sr. and Maxine; sister, Kimberly and brother-in-law Chris, Sr.; nephews, Bobby III and Zion; niece, Nyla, and a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor, Southern Care, W.K. Shreveport/Bossier Hospice, and supportive friends for their undeniable love of their precious daughter.
