Patricia Wiedower

Bossier City-Services for Patricia Wiedower-Tharp Tarter will be held at River Valley Church, 2900 Douglas, Bossier City, Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 3:30 pm. Officiating the service will be Rev. Lowell Kenyan of River Valley Church. Graveside services will follow at HillCrest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Boone Funeral Home Wednesday from 6-8 pm. She was born on December 5, 1948, in El Paso, TX, and passed away March 19, 2007, in Bossier City. Mrs. Tarter had retired from Bossier Parish School Board where she was a beloved schoolteacher at Central Park Elementary School for 16 years. Her father Freddie Wiedower preceded her in death. Surviving her is her loving husband Dan Tarter; mother Joyce Wiedower; sons: Matt Tharp, Joshua Tarter, PFC, USA; sister Freda Tapp and husband Robbie; niece Angie Coleman; nephew Micah Tapp, and their families, and a multitude of friends and people's lives she touched.
