Cody Lynn Vowles

Cody Lynn Vowles was born in Shreveport on May 21, 1999 to Jennifer Barton Malone and Richard Vowles.  Tragically, Cody passed away suddenly on June 30, 2019 in Monahans, Texas with his mother by his side.

Cody wanted people around him to be happy. In his own unique way he brought smiles to everyone around him. Friendships were valuable to him.  He strived to bring the best out in his many friends. At a young age, he learned the value of hard work. He was currently working and had just completed his first semester of college.   

Preceding Cody in death is his father, Richard Vowles.  Left to cherish many precious memories are mother, Jennifer Malone; brother, Joseph Dylan Vowles; grandparents, Karen (LaLa) and Earl Barton, Margo and Alan Vowles; half-sister Mallory; and many other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Cody left us too early and he will be greatly missed.  His smile, his laughter and his beautiful face will live on in our hearts forever.
