Kenneth Rabe

Mr. Kenneth Scott Rabe passed away at his home on July 7, 2008. He was born on March 6, 1942, in Downers Grove, IL. Scott worked for AT&T for over 30 years, retiring in 1992 as a Senior Engineer. During his career he worked in many different areas starting out in Indianapolis; then moving to Princeton, NJ at their Research Center. Some time later he was transferred to Shreveport, then finished his career at the Guilford Center in Greensboro, NC. He earned his masters degree at Purdue University and enjoyed coaching many sports, especially soccer, with his wife, Ann. His wishes for cremation will be honored, and his cremated remains will be scattered on the St. John?s river in Florida, date to be announced. His parents; Kenneth and Victoria Prescott Rabe preceded him in death. Surviving him is his wife of 30 years Ann; daughter Dawn Blewitt; four sons which all bear his middle name Scott: Robert, Guy, Eric, and Brian; 12 grandchildren, one great grandson; sister Bonnie Vinovich; and brother Randall Rabe.
