Tamara Lynn Hanks Barry

Tamara Lynn Hanks Barry, 41, of Bossier City, LA passed away on November 18, 2014 following an extended illness. The funeral service will be held at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Visitation will be held on Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport. Burial will follow the funeral at Forest Park West Cemetery. Tamara was born in Beale AFB, CA on December 30, 1972. She graduated from Huntington High School. She was married to James Kurt Barry. She was a stay at home mom for several years. She enjoyed crafts and cooking with her daughter. She was also actively involved in her daughter's activities. Tamara is survived by her husband James Kurt Barry; children Amanda Carolynn Hanks, Lauren Michelle Munoz, and Nicholas Andrew Barry; grandchildren Kurt Barry, Carlie Munoz, Cameron Munoz, Christian Munoz, and Chloe Munoz; parents Clifford and Linda Hanks; brothers Clifford Hanks Jr, and Michael Hanks; nephews Blake Hanks, Trey Hanks, Joshua Hanks and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Autism Speaks. The family would like to thank family and friends for their support during this past difficult year.
