Troy Driggers

A memorial service for Troy Driggers, age 79, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City Chapel. Inurnment will be at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. with Military Honors. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Berthelot of Crossroads Assembly of God Church. Mr. Driggers passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1927 in Zwolle, LA Mr. Driggers served his country during the Korean War in the Army. He retired after 27 years from the State Hwy Dept. He enjoyed spending time at the Caddo Council on Aging. Mr. Driggers was preceded in death by his soul mate of 30 years Christine T. Knotts. His parents; Coleman and Tressie Driggers. He is survived by one brother; Coleman Driggers, nephew; Charles Driggers and wife Cathy, niece; Cathy Johnston and husband Jimbo, two great-nephews; Charles Coleman and Brandon Johnston, his adoptive family which include; 12 children, over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Caddo Counsel on Aging, 4015 Greenwood Rd., Shreveport, LA 71109.
