Lorene Carter

Bossier City—Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene R. Carter will be held Sunday, February 6, 2005 at 2:00pm at Boone Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ben Brewster officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 5, 2005 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Westlake Cemetery in Doyline, LA. Mrs. Carter, 88, was born in Vernon, TX and passed away in Bossier City on February 3, 2005. She was a loving mother and also a foster mother for many years. Her husband, L.C. Carter and son, Bobby Carter, precede Lorene in death. Surviving Mrs. Carter are her daughter, Jerry Dean Baysinger and husband Dale of Princeton; sister, Irene Roper of Kilgore, TX; grandchildren, Donna Kay Carter of Texas, James Ray Carter of Louisiana, Lori Rainwater of Louisiana, Troyanne Baysinger of Florida, Renee Hall of North Dakota, Dina Webb of Louisiana, and Travis Baysinger of Texas; 24 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
