Allen Kent Brasher

Allen Kent Brasher of Mooringsport passed away May 10, 2019.  Allen was born July 17, 1959 to James and Mary Brasher in Shreveport, La. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR during his free time. Allen also enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Cindy Pittenger, and Tom Maley for helping them when Allen became ill.  Services will be at Northwood Baptist Church, in Shreveport on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 2:30pm. 

Preceded in death by his parents, brother James Edwin Brasher, sister Mary Claire Webber, and Nephew Sammy.  Survived by Life partner Diann Mayfield; Brothers Sam Tidwell and wife Sun,  and Johnny Tidwell; Sister Carolyn Brasher Smith; Children John and Stephanie Mayfield; Grandchildren Skylar, Taylor and Carmen; Nephews John, Steven, Kenneth; Nieces Anna Claire, Melissa, Mary Kim and many other friends and family.  Allen will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
