Mary Herrington

Mary Florence Morrison Herrington, age 81 passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Christus Schumpert Hospital. She was married to Arnold Abbott Herrington of Schenectady, New York who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons; Arthur Frances Herrington and Mark Nelson Herrington both of Shreveport, LA, daughters; Mary Johnson of Roswell, N.M. and Ruth Ann "Cookie" Harrison of Little Rock, AR. She will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Teresa Vaughn of Mansfield, LA will miss trying new recipes for her to sample. Mary retired in 1984 after 34 years of service at Barksdale Air Force Base. She volunteered for the Women's Auxiliary at the Highland Clinic for many years. She enjoyed driving herself to the beauty shop weekly, eating out, and she also loved to read. It was Mary's desire to be cremated and to have no service of any kind, and the family is honoring her request.
