Will was born to the Union of Will, Sr. and Madie Jenkins Jefferson August 4, 1978 @ 12:12 PM. He was the oldest of three children. He attended Captain Shreve Highschool and later attended Diesel Academy where he received his CDL licenses. He was employed by the city of Shreveport as a sanitation truck driver. He was baptized by Rev. S.G. Orange, Sr. at New Inspiration Baptist Church where he was active in the Youth department. He was also the church drummer and bus driver and anywhere he was needed. He was a mentor and inspiration to many young people.
He is preceded in death by his father Will, Sr.; sister, LaJoyce Jenkins and his grandparents.
He is survived by his son Jamarciae Taylor and daughter Alana Jenkins; mother, Madie Jenkins Jefferson; sister, Mrenda (Wayne) McCray of Arlington, Texas; three uncles Donald Ray Jones, Darren (Sherlyn) Jones, Clent (Loretta) Jones (all of this city); the Inspiration Church Family and by the lives of all the people he has touched while on his journey.
