Judy McGuffee

Bossier City – Judith Diane McGuffee met her Lord and Savior on August 19, 2019.  Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Boone Funeral Home.  Interment will be 3:30 PM, Randall Cemetery in Olla, Louisiana.  The family will receive friends one prior to the service. 

Judy lived for her family.  No matter what her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren were involved in, she was there to support them.  She was often called Nana by friends of her.  She was a woman of strength, faith, and selfless devotion to those she loved. 

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Winnick and Margie Lee Prudhomme; brothers, Junior Prudhomme and Laverne Riley; sisters, Lynette Salters, and Evelyn Jo Williams; nephews, Dudley Salters and G.C. Williams; niece, Rhonda Williams; and father-in-law, Richard Elmond McGuffee.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stevie John McGuffee; sons, Greg McGuffee and wife Stephanie, and Brian McGuffee and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Turner McGuffee, Tyler McGuffee, Shelby McGuffee, Neal Adams and wife Nacole, and Lauren Hillman and husband Cody; great-grandchildren, Bowen McGuffee, Cannon and Charley Rose Adams, and Ally Kate and Ellie Reese Hillman; mother-in-law, Jolene McGuffee; brother-in law, RE McGuffee and wife Lois; sisters-in-law, LaNae Chapman and husband Alton and Francis Prudhomme; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Judy’s memory. 

Judy devoted herself to others.  Her legacy of love will continue for many generations as she rests in the arms of her Lord forever.
