Ruth Elouise Dickey

Ruth Elouise Dickey, 80, of Bossier City, LA passed away on June 9, 2014 at the Grace Home in Shreveport, LA. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be at Courtland Cemetery in Queen City, TX. Elouise was born in Queen City on December 24, 1933. She was married to Frank Earl Dickey on July 4, 1954; they were married 52 years. She was a member of The Healing Place at Glad Tidings. Elouise is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Smith of Bossier City, and Charlene Moore & husband Wayne of Elm Grove; grandchildren Dewayne Moore of Elm Grove, LA, Drs. Cliff & Candee Moore of Metarie, LA, Melissa & Heath Kelly of Bossier City, LA, Nicole & Daniel & Lea of Springhill, LA, Eric & Amanda Smith of Haughton, LA, Catherine Moore of Elm Grove, LA; great-grandchildren Samantha Moore, Pamela James, Kaylee Kelly, Claire Moore, Carter Moore, Riley Smith; siblings Louise McCasland (James) or Prairieville, LA, Margie Irizarry (Carlos) of Benton, AR, Dennis Coats (Bonnie Kay), Melvin Coats (Barbara), and Buster Coats all of Atlanta, TX. Elouise is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Earl Dickey; parents Neal & Dolly Coats; brother Jewel Coats; grandson Mike Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Grace Home in Shreveport, LA. The family of Ruth Elouise Dickey wishes to thank family, friends, and caregivers.
