Jean C. Taylor

Jean was born in Port Arthur, TX to Ora Chatelain Coulon and Joseph Robert Coulon.  The family moved to Lake Charles in 1950 where she attended McNeese College receiving an associate degree in Business Studies. 

She met and married R.W. (Bob) Taylor in 1953 and together they had two children, Paul and Lisè.

 A founding member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA, she was Secretary for the Parish for 30 years.  She was also active in the Ladies Altar Society.

Preceding her in death are her husband Bob Taylor, son Paul and her parents, Ora and Robert Coulon.  She is survived by daughter Lisè Taylor of Shreveport, 5 cats and numerous cousins and friends.

Family visitation will be at Boone Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
