W. C. Lloyd

Funeral services for W.C. Lloyd, Sr. will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier.  Graveside services will be Thursday 3:30 PM in Union Springs Cemetery, Corrigan, TX.    Officiating will be Rev. Darrell Dean.

W. C. was born March 2, 1925 and passed away October 28, 2018 with his family by his side.  During his life, he proudly served his country during WWII.  Following his service he met and married Billie, the love of his life, and together they raised three children.  He enjoyed a long and successful career with KCS Railroad.  When he was only five years old, his father taught him to hunt and fish.  He taught his sons to hunt and fish and that became their time together. 

Waiting for W.C. in Heaven is his wife of 52 years, Billie.  Left to cherish memories are his daughter, Karen Readhimer and husband Bruce; sons, W.C. Lloyd, Jr. and wife Vickie and Jeffrey Mark Lloyd; grandchildren, Sean, Matt, Kate, Justin; great-grandchildren, Grayson; siblings, Cynthia, Geneva, and Andy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He loved his family deeply and his legacy and stories will continue for many generations.
