Dorothy Henderson

Memorial services for Dorothy A. Henderson will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Kings Highway Christian Church, 806 Kings Highway, Shreveport. Officiating will be Rev. David Brice. Dorothy celebrated her 79th birthday on April 30th and went to be with her Lord on May 1, 2009. During her life, Dorothy was dedicated to raising her four sons and taking care of the love of her life, Roy. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy L. Henderson, Jr.; sons, Roy Lee Henderson, III, George David Henderson and wife Stephanie, Darrall Robert Henderson and wife Carol, and Theodore Abbott Henderson married to Wynne; seven grandchildren, Rory James and Jessica Allison Carlyle, John Mark Guerra, James Michael Guerra, Polly Elizabeth Henderson,William Lee Henderson and Lily Jing Hua Henderson. Dorothy had a kind sweet spirit and was loved by everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege to know her.
