William Milligan

Bossier City, LA ? Memorial services for William A. Milligan will be held 10:00 AM, November 3, 2010, at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Bossier City. William was born in Knoxville, TN to Cynthia and Joseph Milligan and passed away peacefully October 26, 2010 at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. As a young adult, he joined the Air Force and proudly served his country for twenty years. He was known as a man of little words that loved his family, nature and tending to his vegetable garden. In his spare time, he loved working with model cars and painting. However, his passion was his family. Preceding him in death are his wife, Helen Milligan; parents, Cynthia and Joe Milligan; and sisters, Marian and Francis. Left to cherish him memory is his daughter, Beverly Vance and her husband John Vance. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 920 Pierremont, Suite 300, Shreveport, LA 71106. William will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.
