On Friday January 26, 2024, William (Bill) Lloyd LeFever, of Bossier City, LA, was called home at the age of 82.
William was born and raised in New York. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force, where he proudly dedicated 20 years of service as a Technical Sergeant. Upon retirement from the Air Force, he completed his second career in cartography as Vice President of Cartography for Pine Design. He married Linda McCrea in 1996. Upon retirement, they relocated to Bossier City, LA. He enjoyed volunteering for the food bank through the Bossier City Sheriff’s Department, where he also proudly became a member of the Posse. He enjoyed gardening, golf, singing and reading mystery novels.
William was preceded in death by his mother Mary LeFever. He is survived by his wife Linda, sister Francis (Greg) Opresko, brother Robert (Laura) LeFever, sons William LeFever, Wayne (Dee) LeFever, Chris LeFever, Troy (Kristina) LeFever, and daughter’s Kim (Andy) Hammer, Lauren (Michael) Tucker, and 9 grandchildren.
