Walter Cook

Mooringsport, La. - Walter A. Cook, age 69, entered into the gates of heaven on March 12, 2014 after battling a lengthy illness that never dampened his spirit or sense of humor. He left this earth peacefully at Willis Knighton North while being surrounded by family and those he held dear to his heart. He leaves behind his son, Adam Cook; grandchildren, Kelsie Darmsteader, Shay Cook, Owen Cook; brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, many loved ones and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Charlotte Cook, and his son Daniel "Ink" Cook. Services for Walter A. Cook will be held at Boone's Funeral Home in Shreveport, La. on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm with services to follow at 4 pm in the chapel. To honor his last wishes, there will be no graveside service. Pallbearers will be Charles Cook, James Cook, Jackie Cook, Michael Collins, Jesse Cook, and Willie St. Andry, Jr.
