Virgil Lee "Pee Wee" Bomar

Virgil Lee “Pee Wee” Bomar passed away peacefully in his Greenwood, Louisiana home in the early morning of March 20, 2025. 

He was born on August 2, 1939 in Missouri. He had an unshakable zest for life, love for his family and friends, and always exuded energy enough to power every ride at Disneyland simultaneously. A generous son, brother, uncle, friend and kind human being, we will miss him deeply and are fortunate to have shared so many fun memories with him that bless our memories. Every dance, music festival, laugh, visit to the track, jaunt to Las Vegas, night on the town, and spontaneous act of kindness are ripples of Virgil’s spirit. 

Virgil Lee leaves behind his sister Carmen, brother Bob, sister-in-law Betsy, nieces, nephews and their many children, and wonderful friends, including Veronica and Brenda who have been there for him every step of the way in his last chapters of life. Virgil Lee was preceded in death by his father Virgil, his mother Gladys, his brother James, and his sister Patricia.

The funeral service is pending and will be announced at a later date.
